Usyk Explains Why He Turned Down Wilder Fight

Oleksandr Usyk, the holder of the WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight titles, has clarified that he has no plans of facing Deontay Wilder in the ring. The Ukrainian boxer stated that he is geared up for a fight with Tyson Fury, as Fury is currently a championship belt holder.

"Wilder is definitely not afraid, he wants to box. I think he doesn't care who he fights with. But he doesn't have a title. Only Tyson Fury has the WBC belt. That's why I need a fight with him," Usyk disclosed during an interview with the YouTube channel ringpolska.
