Usyk vs. Dubois Rematch: Krassyuk and Don Charles Weigh In

Alexander Krassyuk, head of K2 Promotions and CBDO of Ready to Fight, shared his thoughts on a potential rematch between WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) and IBF champion Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs).

"You never know for sure, but why not? We've seen this before, and some people still have questions regarding that fight. There was a moment that left certain things unclear. Why not? If Dubois is healthy and ready to go. Two-time undisputed, three-time undisputed—this is how history is made," Krassyuk commented.

Dubois' trainer, Don Charles, also spoke about the possibility of a rematch with Usyk for his fighter.

"Why not? Dubois already knocked Usyk down. It was a game of two halves. In football, you have two halves, but in boxing, unfortunately, everything can be decided in one. We won the first half of the fight, considering the situation between Usyk and Daniel, but Usyk won the second half.

Dubois has already proven he can knock him down. I'll repeat—this was a legitimate shot, but they took it away from us. Now, I challenge them to bring Oleksandr Usyk back to face Daniel again—I throw down the gauntlet," Charles declared to talkSPORT.

In August 2023, Oleksandr Usyk knocked out Daniel Dubois in the 9th round. A controversial moment occurred in the 5th round when Dubois landed a low blow on Usyk, giving the Ukrainian time to recover. Dubois' camp believes the shot was legal.
