Usyk and Dubois Nearing Deal for Rematch – Insider

Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) and Britain’s Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) are close to finalizing an agreement for a rematch for the undisputed heavyweight championship, according to The Ring insider Mike Coppinger.

The fight is being targeted for July 12 at the legendary Wembley Stadium in London, UK.

Their first meeting took place in August 2023, where Usyk secured a ninth-round technical knockout victory.

Usyk last fought in December, defeating Tyson Fury in a rematch via unanimous decision.

Dubois returned to the ring in September with a dominant performance over Anthony Joshua, knocking out his fellow Brit in the fifth round. He was scheduled to defend the IBF title against Joseph Parker on February 22, but withdrew due to illness.
