Current WBC, WBA and IBF Heavyweight champion and three-time undisputed world champion Oleksandr Usyk says he doesn’t rule out a potential bout with former world champion Andy Ruiz Jr.

“I don’t know. Maybe after the fight with Deontay Wilder. I don’t know.

Right now I’m just working to my plan. Maybe my plan and my team’s plan are different, but right now it’s like that,” said Usyk.

At the WBC Congress, Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs) said his next opponent should be Deontay Wilder.

Andy Ruiz Jr. (35-2-1, 22 KOs) hasn’t fought since August 2024. He drew with Jarrell Miller and then treated a hand injury sustained in the bout.
