Usyk: "If Fury Was Acting, He Deserves an Oscar"

On May 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a fight for the undisputed world heavyweight championship (over 200 lbs) is scheduled between the holder of the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO titles, Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs), and the WBC champion, Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs). The fight was originally set for February 17 but was postponed to May after Tyson sustained a cut during sparring. Oleksandr commented on his opponent's injury and addressed whether it was a ploy by Fury.

"First of all, I was very concerned about Tyson Fury because I thought there might be some complication, and our fight wouldn't happen on the 23rd. If he was acting, I think he deserves an Oscar. The fight has to happen this year because we have a signed contract. This is only Tyson Fury's problem. Tyson Fury signed the contract. He should honor it," said Usyk.
