Usyk began preparing for the fight against Fury

Ukrainian WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk has started training for a fight against WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

The location of the training camp has not yet been revealed. The preliminary date of Usyk's fight with Fury is March 4.

The manager of the Ukrainian, Egis Klimas, said that the negotiations regarding the fight for the title of absolute world champion in super heavyweight are nearing completion.

According to Ukrainian promoter Oleksandr Krasyuk, the parties are currently conducting the final part of the negotiations, during which they are discussing the venue of the match. The fight can take place in Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Qatar or London.

Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua in his last WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight title fight. According to the results of all twelve rounds, Alexander defeated Joshua by a separate decision of the judges: 115-113, 116-112 and 113-115.
