Ukrainian WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk commented on WBC super heavyweight champion Tyson Fury's decision to fight British Derek Chisora.
"I don't think anything at all about this fight. Tyson Fury went crazy," Usyk said.
Fury and Chisora will have their third face-to-face fight on December 3 in London at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Before that, the "Gypsy King" defeated Derek twice - in 2011 and 2014.
In the undercard of Chisora's fight with Fury, the WBO International lightweight champion Denys Berinchyk will fight. The Ukrainian will compete with EBU title holder Ivan Mendy from France.
Fury announced his retirement twice after defeating Dillian Whyte in April, but the boxer never vacated the WBC championship belt. In social networks, Tyson repeatedly discussed a possible fight with Usyk.
After his victory over Anthony Joshua, Usyk challenged Fury to a face-to-face fight. Subsequently, the Ukrainian declared that holding this year's fight with Tyson was impossible. Usyk's manager, Aegis Klimas, said that there is a possibility of a fight with Fury in February 2023.
