The former world champion in the super heavyweight category, American Deontay Wilder, is making accusations against Oleksandr Usyk, the current WBA Super, IBF, and WBO world champion. Wilder claims that the Ukrainian is trying to avoid the fight.
"I really want this fight, but it seems to me that Usyk is afraid of me, quite a lot, in fact. I am well-versed in this business and know many things," Wilder says with a smile.
Wilder also emphasized that he is not interested in details about the time and place of the fight. He does not make impossible demands but simply wants the fight to take place. "We help each other survive in this business. I'm not trying to increase my value," he added in an interview for the EsNews YouTube channel.
It should be noted that Wilder's last fight took place in October when he knocked out Finnish veteran Robert Helenius.
