Warren: Fury is ready to fight Usyk in February or March

Frank Warren, co-promoter of WBC champion Tyson Fury, has revealed that the Briton is ready to fight WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight title holder Oleksandr Usyk early next year. Before that, Tyson plans to have another fight.

"Fury wants to fight. He had one fight in a year. There will be a match on December 3. Then he is ready for a big fight in February or March against Usyk."

"Tyson is training, he wants to fight on December 3 and he wants to know who he should fight. Fighters need to know who they are boxing. Continues to drag unnecessarily. It has to happen now."

Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua in his last WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight title fight. According to the results of all twelve rounds, Alexander defeated Joshua by a separate decision of the judges: 115-113, 116-112 and 113-115.

Immediately after the victory in the rematch against Anthony, Usyk challenged the WBC champion Tyson Fury to a fight. It will be recalled that Usyk said that a fight with Fury in December is impossible.

Tyson turned to Joshua with an offer to conclude negotiations on a joint fight in the near future. The boxer said that his promoter Frank Warren convinced him to continue training for the fight.

Fury later stated that he no longer intends to fight Joshua as Anthony's time to think is over. Tyson gave Joshua an ultimatum to sign the contract by Monday, September 26. Fury stated that the negotiations had dragged on too long and did not want Anthony dictating his terms to him.

Also, Frank Warren reported that Tyson was disappointed with the situation surrounding the fight against Joshua and switched to a fight with Manuel Charr.
