Battle of the Undefeated Welterweights

Top Rank Promotions officially announced a bout between undefeated welterweight (up to 66.68 kg) contenders, 32-year-old American Giovani Santillan (32-0, 17 KOs) and his 23-year-old compatriot, Brian Norman Jr. (25-0, 1 KO).

Their fight will take place on May 18th as part of the undercard for the WBO lightweight (up to 61.2 kg) title fight between Denys Berinchyk and Emanuel Navarrete.

Santillan last fought in 2023, winning by decision and a 6th-round knockout. Norman has already had one fight in 2024; his early March bout against Janelson Bocachica was declared a no contest.
