Ukrainian Khegai beat Bayes by points

Ukrainian featherweight boxer Arnold Khegai won by split decision over Mexican Eduard Bayes.

The fight took place on the undercard of Terence Crawford - David Avanesyan in Omaha (USA).

In an even fight, Khegai was still more accurate, as confirmed by the referee's notes. Two referees awarded victory to the Ukrainian - 96-93 and 95-94, and the third awarded victory to Baez - 94-95.

This is Khegai's 19th victory in the professional ring. It will be recalled that in May of this year, Khegai defeated Ruben Tostado Garcia prematurely.
