Ukrainian heavyweight boxer Viktor Vykhrist (11-0, 7 KOs) will have his next fight with Cuban Lenier Pero (8-0, 5 KOs).
The fight will take place on the undercard of the vacant WBC featherweight title fight between Ray Vargas and O'Shakey Foster. The event will be held on February 11 in San Antonio.
"For me, this is a great opportunity to demonstrate my talents in the USA. I'm especially excited to be back against a big opponent like Pero. He was a good amateur and I know we will both be very confident going into this fight. I'm going to win and show everyone that I'm ready to do everything possible to achieve my goal and become the world champion," Vykhrist said.
In his last fight, Victor defeated the American Franklin Lawrence by unanimous decision of the judges. In the fifth round, the Ukrainian knocked the American down, but he managed to continue the fight. The match took place at a boxing evening in Göppingen, Germany.
