Ukrainian fighter Bovar Khanakov has challenged WBO lightweight champion (up to 61.2 kg) and Ready to Fight ambassador Denys Berinchyk (19-0, 9 KOs) to a bare-knuckle fight.
"Denys, I heard you enjoyed bare-knuckle fighting and might return to this sport. When you take off the gloves, I think our match will go down in the history of this sport. Nothing personal, just sporting interest. Let's make history. Friends, what do you think about this match-up?" Khanakov wrote, and Berinchyk shared the post.
In February, Bovar announced his retirement from bare-knuckle boxing.
In July 2021, Denys Berinchyk fought a bare-knuckle match against Artem Lobov and won by technical knockout.
