Ukraine set a historic achievement at the European Boxing Championship

The Ukrainian national team won six medals (3 gold, silver and two bronze) at the 2022 European Women's Boxing Championship held in Budva, Montenegro. In the overall team final standings, Ukraine conceded only to the Irish national team, which has one "silver" more.

This result became the best in the history of our team's performance at the women's continental championships.

Never before have Ukrainian female boxers won three gold medals at the Euro. The previous national record "blue-yellow" was set in 2003 and 2004, when they won gold doubles.

The last time our compatriots climbed to the highest step of the pedestal was 8 years ago.

The champions were: Tetyana Kob, who won in the category up to 52 kg, Anastasia Kovalchuk (54 kg) and Maria Lovchinska (81 kg). Maria Bova took silver in the category up to 63 kg
