Ukraine to Release Stamp Honoring Usyk-Fury Rematch

The Ukrainian national postal operator, Ukrposhta, will release a commemorative stamp ahead of the highly anticipated rematch between WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) and former champion Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs).

The stamp features the Ukrainian champion draped in the national flag, accompanied by the phrase: "Usyk. The World Loves the Strong." Proceeds from its sale will be donated to Oleksandr Usyk's charitable foundation.

"The world loves the strong, and Ukraine knows strength better than anyone. Our land raises invincible people with unbreakable will and character.

Ukrposhta is proud to announce the charitable postal release, 'Usyk. The World Loves the Strong,' in honor of Ukraine's most decorated amateur boxer, the undisputed world champion in cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions, the legendary Oleksandr Usyk.

Funds raised will be donated to the Usyk Foundation, established to support Ukraine’s Defense Forces and Ukrainians affected by Russian aggression," reads the announcement.

The stamp is available for pre-order on the website.

As a reminder, on May 18, Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury via split decision, becoming the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999. The rematch between Usyk and Fury is scheduled for December 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
