Current UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall may be heading to professional boxing. The news was confirmed by his father.

According to reports, Aspinall has two fights remaining on his current UFC contract. He does not intend to re-sign with the promotion — once those bouts are completed, he plans to transition into boxing.

Aspinall’s previous fight was declared a no contest. It ended in the first round after French heavyweight Ciryl Gane accidentally poked Aspinall in the eye.
