Whyte understands why Joshua and Franklin will fight on the 1st of April

British heavyweight Dillian Whyte has criticized his compatriot, former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua for choosing an opponent for his next fight. White does not understand why Joshua is fighting with the little-known American Jermaine Franklin.

“I'm not surprised they chose April 1st for this battle of fools. I boxed with Franklin, with his most dangerous and undefeated version. And I beat him. Hearn promised him a lot of money to fight Joshua if he beat me. They all protect Anthony, because everyone knows that if he loses again, he will be of no use to anyone.” Whyte said.

Earlier, Eddie Hearn said that the fight between Joshua and Franklin can be shown on PPV.
