Wilder appreciated Usyk

The former super heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder spoke about his attitude towards the current WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. According to him, the Ukrainian showed himself better in the first heavyweight.

"I liked Usyk more in cruiserweight, because of his movements and some other things. As a heavyweight, he is also good, but in the first heavyweight, he looked better. But this is all just me and my opinion.

I respect Usyk as a fighter and a person. I've heard a lot of good things about him. I have never heard any negative statements about him, so I can judge Usyk only from the good side.

Therefore, I have only positive impressions about him. When he's ready, I won't waste time," Wilder said.

Earlier, the Ukrainian said that his next opponent could be Wilder. The fight can take place in the USA. In addition, Usyk planned to watch Wilder's next fight with Robert Helenius, which will take place on October 8 in Brooklyn.
