Tyson vs. Jake – Crawford Against

American WBA, WBC, and WBO welterweight champion (up to 66.7 kg) Terence Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs) shared his thoughts on whether he wants to see a fight between YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul (10-1, 7 KOs) and former undisputed world champion Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs).

"No. I don’t want to see that. I think Mike Tyson is an icon of boxing. He has done a lot for the sport on his own. And I just think Mike is past his prime. Mike is old.

I wouldn’t want to see Mike get hurt in a fight where he’s just doing it for money or entertainment. I just think his health issues are another reason why I don’t want to see him in the ring anymore," Crawford said in an interview with The MMA Hour.

It’s worth noting that a fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson was initially scheduled for July 20. The bout was officially sanctioned as a professional heavyweight fight (over 90.7 kg), with the result set to be recorded in their professional records. However, the event was postponed to November 15 due to an exacerbation of Tyson's ulcer.

On August 3, Terence Crawford will face Israil Madrimov (10-0-1, 7 KOs) for the WBA world title and the interim WBO super welterweight title (up to 69.9 kg).
