Tyson Needed Medical Assistance During Flight

According to the New York Post, former undisputed champion Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) required medical assistance during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles.

Approximately 30 minutes before the plane landed in Los Angeles, passengers heard an announcement requesting the arrival of medical personnel. A source reported that "Mike had some sort of urgent medical issue on the plane, and paramedics came on board. Before the paramedics arrived, the flight made an announcement asking for a doctor - the message even appeared on all the screens."

Later, the boxer's representatives provided details of the incident in an email.

"Fortunately, Mr. Tyson is doing well. About 30 minutes before landing, he experienced nausea and dizziness due to an ulcer flare-up. He is grateful to the medical staff who assisted him," the email stated.

Witnesses reported that the plane was delayed in Miami for two hours. However, in an email to The Post, Tyson's representatives clarified that the delay was due to an air conditioning issue, not the medical assistance for Mike.

Mike Tyson, who will turn 58 next month, is set to face 27-year-old Jake Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) on July 20 in Arlington, Texas, USA. This will be the first fight to be live-streamed by Netflix.

The bout is officially sanctioned as a professional heavyweight fight, and the result will be officially recorded in the athletes' records.
