Tyson Fury's uncle and former trainer, Peter Fury, has named Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk as the best opponent in his nephew's career.
«I think it was a good fight; he did everything he could – that's all you can ask for. Usyk is an exceptional champion. I've always said that this guy is a great fighter, the best Tyson has faced, that's for sure.
But it was a close battle. Fury is big but didn't use his size. I think it shouldn't have been that way, but that's just my opinion.
I believe they chose the wrong tactics and developed the wrong game plan, but it was a good fight worth watching,» said Fury.
Usyk became a two-time undisputed world champion after defeating Tyson Fury. A rematch may take place at the end of 2024.
