John Fury, the father of WBC champion Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs), has given his opinion on a potential bout between his son and Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs):
"Unless Usyk puts out a genuine video explaining his actions, being truthful about what he's done, he might never get a fight with Tyson. He lost money for the Tyson bout, lost everything that was linked to us. But they still select Tyson.
Usyk is a nobody. Sure, he won a few titles against Anthony Joshua. But when was the last time we saw a solid AJ performance? He's not been up to par for a long while. Given what Usyk did to Joshua, Tyson would take Anthony out and everyone in boxing knows it. Even Deontay Wilder would handle him. So, how good is Usyk really?"
