Former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) shared his thoughts on a potential clash with former titleholder Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs).
"We could have had a two-fight deal, and it would have made loads of money if he had beaten Dubois. Doors open, doors close. That’s life.
But who cares if you’ve been knocked out twice, four or five times, or six or seven? Does it really matter if he takes another loss or not?
It doesn’t matter. It’s still a big fight. Even if he goes up against Dubois again and gets knocked out — and he will, because he had no chance in that fight — it doesn’t change anything," Fury said.
In September, Anthony Joshua suffered a knockout loss to IBF champion Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs).
On December 21, Tyson Fury will face unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) in a rematch.
