The International Boxing Federation (IBF) has excluded former WBC heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) from its rankings. The 30-year-old Uzbek boxer Bakhodir Jalolov (14-0, 14 KOs) has replaced the Brit, taking the 13th spot. The reason for the exclusion is that Tyson will fight a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs), in which the IBF title will not be on the line. However, should Fury defeat Usyk, he will have the opportunity to become the IBF champion again if he fights the winner of the bout between Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) and Daniel Dubois (21-2, 20 KOs), scheduled for September 21 in London, UK. The rematch between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will take place on December 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The WBA, WBC, and WBO titles held by the Ukrainian will be on the line.
