Former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury (34‑2‑1, 24 KOs) weighed in on a potential clash between Britain’s Anthony Joshua and American influencer‑turned‑boxer Jake Paul.
“I think Jake Paul knocks Joshua out. Joshua looks spent to me, while Jake’s on the rise. I like his new heavyweight frame—bit chubby, a bit bulky, but moving the right way. Keep it up.
He just handled an aging Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.—yes, Chavez was a middleweight, but still. I love how Jake calls everyone out, from featherweight to heavyweight.
He’s called out Gervonta Davis and Joshua. It’s madness. That’s what I call challenges on the Richter scale,” Fury said.
Jake Paul (12‑1, 7 KOs) scored a unanimous‑decision win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on 28 June.
Anthony Joshua (28‑4, 25 KOs) last fought in September, when Daniel Dubois stopped him in round five. After elbow surgery in May, the Briton is expected back in the ring in November–December 2025.
