Tyson Fury defeats Francis Ngannou by split decision.

October 29 saw WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) face off in a boxing match against UFC champion Francis Ngannou (0-1, 0 KOs).

The fight went the full 10 rounds, and in the 3rd round, Fury was knocked down. However, the British fighter secured the victory by a split decision of the judges: 96-93 and 95-94 in his favor, while one judge scored it for Ngannou - 95-94.

The WBC heavyweight title, which Fury holds, was not on the line, but Tyson received a special WBC belt.
