Two Top British Fights in One Night

In a comment to BoxingScene, coach of WBO cruiserweight champion Chris Billam-Smith from Britain, Shane McGuigan, mentioned that another significant British clash is planned on the same card as his athlete.

According to McGuigan, Billam-Smith is set to face the top-ranked contender of the World Boxing Organization, fellow Brit Richard Riakporhe (17-0, 13 KOs). However, to announce the boxing night, they await the conclusion of negotiations between the teams of light heavyweight (up to 79.4 kg) boxers Joshua Buatsi (18-0, 13 KOs) and Anthony Yarde (25-3, 24 KOs).

These two bouts are expected to be the co-main events of the tournament. Previously, Billam-Smith vs. Riakporhe and Buatsi vs. Yarde were agreed upon, so finalizing the terms remains.
