Promoter Eddie Hearn dished out a potential mega-fight scenario between the winners of the Fury-Usyk and Joshua-Ngannou bouts. Mr. Turki Al-Sheikh laid out the plan:
"One big reason we're in this fight game is Mr. Turki's heads-up. He's saying the victor here gets to rumble with the top dog from the Usyk-Fury match.
We're talking a no-holds-barred, winner-takes-all kind of showdown. Imagine Fury outboxing Usyk - fingers crossed - and us putting Ngannou on the ropes. We could be scripting history.
In boxing, the cards fall where they may. Picture this: Fury trounces Usyk, and Joshua corners Ngannou. The world will be buzzing for a Tyson vs. Anthony titan clash. Sure, Fury and Usyk have a rematch clause – can't ignore that.
But then there's Mr. Turki's big vision. He's aiming to gift fans the fight of the era. It's practically served up on a silver platter for Mr. Turki. But first things first: Fury needs to outfight Usyk, and AJ's gotta handle Ngannou. Remember Wilder vs Parker? Expect the unexpected," Hearn spilled to Boxing Social.
The Usyk-Fury face-off is locked in for February 17. Joshua and Ngannou are set to clash on March 8. Both showdowns will light up Saudi Arabia.
