Turki Wants to Organize 5 Mexicans vs. 5 Americans Tournament



The head of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, Turki Alalshikh, wants to organize a boxing event featuring bouts between 5 American fighters and 5 Mexican fighters.

The main event of the evening is set to be a showdown between Terence Crawford and Canelo Alvarez in the super middleweight division (up to 76.2 kg), where Canelo is the undisputed champion.

Caleb Plant vs. Jaime Munguia

Super middleweight

Shakur Stevenson vs. Isaac Cruz

Lightweight (up to 61.2 kg)

Luis Alberto Lopez vs. Brandon Figueroa

Featherweight (up to 57.1 kg)

Stephen Fulton vs. Luis Nery

It was previously reported that the Canelo vs. Crawford fight could take place at the end of 2024 or early 2025.
