Turki Alalshikh, head of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, has announced another boxing event featuring a 5 vs 5 tournament between promotional companies Queensberry Promotions and Matchroom Boxing.
“In February, we will see the 5 vs 5 tournament again: Queensberry vs. Matchroom. We might finalize the organization this week and arrange a big surprise, then we will look at the outcome of the Beterbiev vs. Bivol fight and the result of the big fight on December 21 between Usyk and Fury.
Joshua, Dubois, Fury, Usyk—all are on the list. This is what we are aiming for. We want big fights and to see who the best fighter is in each weight class,” said Turki.
In the first 5 vs 5 tournament, Queensberry won 5-0:
– Nick Ball (21-0-1, 12 KOs) SD 12 Raymond Ford (15-1-1, 8 KOs);
– Hamzah Shiraz (21-0, 17 KOs) TKO 11 Austin Williams (16-1, 11 KOs);
