Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority chairman Turki Alalshikh has commented on the possibility of a heavyweight clash between undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) and WBO interim titleholder Joseph Parker (36-3, 24 KOs).
“Is a fight between Usyk and Parker realistic? I think people are more interested in seeing Usyk vs. Dubois. But we have a big fight planned for Parker as well,” Alalshikh stated.
Earlier, Parker named two coveted opponents.
On February 22, Parker knocked out Martin Bakole in the second round, while Usyk last fought in December, defeating Tyson Fury by unanimous decision.
