Turki Alalshikh Announces Eubank Jr. vs. Benn Fight

Turki Alalshikh, head of the General Entertainment Authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, announced that welterweight boxer Conor Benn (23–0, 14 KOs) and IBO middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr. (34–3, 25 KOs) have agreed to a fight.

According to Turki, the bout will take place in April in London, England, and it will be the first event presented by The Ring.

“Eubank Jr. vs. Benn – agreed. In April, London, under the banner ‘Fatal Fury City of the Wolves.’ I will announce the exact date and venue very soon.

This will be the first The Ring event in collaboration with the video game and SNK, and I will insist that the PPV price for fans is £19.99.

The card will feature a powerful undercard… Let’s make boxing great again. Expect a huge announcement very soon,” wrote Turki.

Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn initially arranged a fight in October 2022, but it was canceled due to Benn’s positive doping test. Since then, Benn has fought in the USA, where the suspension did not apply. The charges against him were dropped in November.

Eubank Jr. traded technical knockouts with Liam Smith in 2023, and in October he returned to the ring with a seventh-round TKO victory over Kamil Szeremeta.
