Tszyu and Ortiz May Fight in Summer

Insider Mike Coppinger, citing sources from ESPN, reports that a fight is planned between former junior middleweight (up to 69,9 kg) champion Tim Tszyu (24-1, 17 KOs) and American knockout artist Vergil Ortiz (20-0, 20 KOs).

The event is scheduled for August 3 in Los Angeles, USA, on the undercard of the match between WBA, WBC, and WBO welterweight (66,7 kg )champion Terence Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs) and the holder of the WBA junior middleweight title, Israil Madrimov (10-0-1, 7 KOs). The fight will take place if Ortiz wins against Thomas Dulorme (26-6-1, 17 KOs).

On March 30, Tim Tszyu lost by split decision to Sebastian Fundora (21-1-1, 13 KOs). Vergil Ortiz, in January, won by technical knockout against Frederick Lawson (30-5, 22 KOs).
