Tszyu vs. Ortiz Fight Canceled

The bout between Tim Tszyu (24-1, 17 KOs) and Vergil Ortiz (21-0, 21 KOs) has been canceled, according to insider Dan Rafael.

The Australian's cut, which he sustained in his fight against Sebastian Fundora in March, has not fully healed. The doctor stated that Tszyu is not yet ready to undergo a training camp and return to the ring.

The fight was scheduled to take place on August 3 in Los Angeles as part of the undercard for the Terence Crawford vs. Israil Madrimov fight.
