Trout Predicts a Tough Fight for Haney

Former world champion Austin Trout (37-5-1, 18 KOs) believes that Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) could pose problems for WBC lightweight (up to 63,5 kg) champion Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs), but only if Ryan takes the fight more seriously.

"It will be a good fight if Ryan comes out and skips his circus tricks. I don’t think it would be an easy fight for Devin.

But this is what I’ve always seen as Ryan Garcia’s problem: he has all the abilities, but he lacks the heart or the mind to really be where he should be – and he only proves it.

Devin, on the other hand, is getting better and better. Like Canelo, he works hard. He's hungry for victories right now," Trout said.

Ryan and Devin will meet on April 20th in New York, USA. The WBC title held by Haney will be on the line.
