Top Rank matchmaker Bruce Trampler has criticized heavyweight prospect Jared Anderson (18-1, 15 KOs) for his underwhelming performance against Greek fighter Marios Kollias (12-4-1, 10 KOs).
"If Anderson doesn’t want to fight, no one can do it for him. It seemed like everyone at Top Rank was working harder for him than he was for himself."
Trampler also reacted to Anderson dismissing his comments as "funny" in an interview:
"Funny? No one’s laughing. You can become a world champion—if you truly want it. It’s sad if you don’t realize your potential and don’t give it your all. But that’s your choice, champ. We still support you.", wrote Trampler.
On February 14, Jared Anderson defeated Marios Kollias by unanimous decision.
