Top Rank Vice President Carl Moretti confirmed that an agreement has been reached for a fight between Congo's Martin Bakole (21-1, 16 KOs) and Nigeria's Efe Ajagba (20-1, 14 KOs).
According to Moretti, the bout was initially scheduled for February 22 on the undercard of the rematch between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol, but it has since been moved to a later Riyadh Season event.
"It's agreed. The fight will take place in Riyadh. It was supposed to happen in February, but the fight has been rescheduled. So, I expect it to happen at the next show after February," Moretti said.
In August, Martin Bakole knocked out Jared Anderson in the 5th round, handing the prospect his first career loss. Efe Ajagba last fought in April, defeating Guido Vianello by split decision.
