American Expert on Gervonta vs. Jake: “It Will Be Easy”

Former world champion and now TV boxing analyst Timothy Bradley believes cruiserweight boxer and influencer Jake Paul will be outclassed by WBA Lightweight champion Gervonta Davis.

“Gervonta’s not losing this fight. Hell no, no way. He’s not losing it. Jake doesn’t have enough experience — it’ll be like taking candy from a baby.

Jake doesn’t know the rules. That’s what happens when you didn’t grow up in this sport, when you weren’t in boxing from a young age — this is the result. You start believing your own headlines. That’s what Jake is doing. He fights lower-level opponents, and now he thinks he’s the man.

But he’s not. That’s a false sense of confidence. Now he’s trying to cling to smaller guys, you know? And I don’t mean that in a bad way — I’m just talking about size.

But that’s another ABCs of boxing lesson — it’s not about size. I’ve said before, it’s not the size of the fighter, it’s the size of his heart. It’s about the will of the fighter, and who’s smarter.

Gervonta’s too smart for him. Tank’s boxing IQ is way too high for Jake. This will be easy, easy,” Bradley said.

The fight between Jake Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) and Gervonta Davis (30-0-1, 28 KOs) will take place on November 14 in Miami. Though an exhibition, the bout will feature judges, who will issue a verdict that will not be added to the fighters’ official records.
