Timothy Bradley Names the Biggest Fight in Boxing

Former champion and current ESPN boxing analyst Timothy Bradley believes that a potential fight between WBA, WBC, and WBO super middleweight champion Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez (61-2-2, 39 KOs) and WBA junior middleweight champion Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) is the biggest fight in boxing today.

"Crawford vs. Canelo is the biggest fight. It's one of the biggest, if not the biggest fight in boxing," Bradley stated. "Conversations remain just that—conversations. But money can change everything. I believe that right now, this is the biggest fight. Many might disagree with me, but take the risk and make it happen.

"If Canelo is talking about easy money, then let him prove it and take it. If you can beat Crawford, that's easy money—why not do it? It's foolish. I understand Canelo; he’s his own boss, he doesn’t need Turki Al al-Sheikh, obviously. But the biggest fight in boxing is Canelo vs. Crawford," Bradley said.

Saúl Álvarez last fought in May, defeating Jaime Munguía (43-1, 34 KOs) by unanimous decision. Canelo's next fight is scheduled against Edgar Berlanga (22-0, 17 KOs) on September 14 in Las Vegas, USA.

On August 3, Terence Crawford moved up in weight and defeated Israil Madrimov (10-1-1, 7 KOs) by unanimous decision. Recently, the World Boxing Organization (WBO) ordered WBO junior middleweight champion Sebastián Fundora (21-1-1, 13 KOs) to defend his title against Crawford.
