From Knockout to Lockout: Spence-Crawford Rematch Faces Uncertain Future

Insider Dan Rafael has dropped a bombshell that the much-anticipated rematch between WBC, WBO, and WBA welterweight titan Terence Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs) and ex-champ Errol Spence (28-1, 22 KOs) might be off the cards.

"Looks like the Crawford-Spence sequel is on the ropes for several reasons. One punch to the plan is Errol's recent cataract surgery, leaving Terence scouting for a new dance partner," Rafael spilled.

In July 2023, Crawford delivered a knockout blow to Spence, securing his spot as the first fighter to clinch a double all-around champion title in four divisions. Spence, not throwing in the towel, triggered a rematch clause post-fight. But, there's a twist in the tale - the IBF belt has been snatched from Crawford's collection and now belts up Jaron Ennis, shaking up the stakes for their potential rematch.
