The Ukrainian Amosov defended his Bellator championship title with confidence

Yaroslav Amosov of Ukraine, the current Bellator welterweight champion, successfully defended his title by dominating American Logan Storley in their second bout.

The Amosov-Storley rematch was the main event of the Bellator 291 tournament, which took place in Dublin, Ireland on February 25th.

The judges scored the fight 50:45, 50:45, 50:45 in favor of Amosov, who confidently defeated his opponent despite Storley receiving a dissection under his right eye in the third round and still managing to complete the distance.

It's worth noting that this marks the second time that Amosov has emerged victorious over Storley, with their previous encounter in November 2020 resulting in an Amosov win by split decision.

For the 27-year-old Ukrainian fighter, this win represents his 27th victory in 27 mixed martial arts matches, having been performing in MMA at the professional level since 2012. Storley, on the other hand, has suffered his second career loss to Amosov, having achieved 14 victories.

In addition to his Bellator welterweight championship, Amosov has also claimed four world championships and three European championships in combat sambo, along with a number of other titles in the discipline.
