The highly anticipated film The Smashing Machine, starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, is set to premiere on October 3, 2025, according to Deadline.

Produced by A24 Studios, the movie will chronicle the rise and fall of MMA legend Mark Kerr, diving into his UFC career, personal demons, and turbulent life outside the octagon.

The lead role of Kerr will be played by Dwayne Johnson, with Benny Safdie serving as both director and screenwriter.

Notably, the film will also feature undisputed heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs), who will portray real-life Ukrainian MMA fighter Igor Vovchanchyn.
