The Ring Magazine has updated its ranking of the best pound-for-pound boxers.
Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs), the WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion, remains at the top. Naoya Inoue (29-0, 26 KOs), the undisputed super bantamweight champion, holds the second spot. WBA junior middleweight champion Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) stays in third place.
The biggest changes occurred in the middle and lower sections of the rankings. Dmitry Bivol (24-1, 12 KOs) moves up to fourth place, overtaking Artur Beterbiev (21-1, 20 KOs), who drops to fifth. Junto Nakatani (30-0, 23 KOs) and Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) improve their positions, now at eighth and ninth, respectively. David Benavidez enters the top ten for the first time, replacing Gervonta Davis (30-0-1, 28 KOs), who drops out after his recent draw.
