As per a report by Boxing Social, the iconic British pugilist Lennox Lewis has bestowed his compatriot with the coveted tag of 'favorite' for the much-awaited clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.
Having himself accomplished the unprecedented feat of clinching all the heavyweight titles in a single category back in 1999, Lewis thinks that Fury has an edge in the battle for the ultimate title of the world champion.
"It's hard to believe that it took so long for a new absolute heavyweight champion to be established. I'm leaning towards Tyson Fury right now. His fights have been like master classes lately. He's got a great trainer in his corner, he's good with the jab, he's on the move during the fight, changing stances and generally boxes spectacularly. I love watching him fight because Tyson is both a showman and a real warrior," Lewis said.
The WBA, WBO, and IBF titles are securely held by the Ukrainian heavyweight boxer, Oleksandr Usyk, while Tyson Fury, the reigning champion in the world of boxing, has rightfully earned the WBC (World Boxing Council) title.
