WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight title holder Oleksandr Usyk announced his return to the ring. The Ukrainian is preparing for a unification fight against WBC champion Tyson Fury.

"Ready for the big fight. The big day is coming up," Usyk wrote on his Instagram page.

Fury and Usyk plan to fight face-to-face for the title of absolute world champion on April 29th in London at Wembley Stadium. The Ukrainian's promoter Oleksandr Krasiuk said that the deadline for negotiations with the Fury team will be March 4th.

Deontay Wilder's promoter Shelly Finkel said that if the Fury-Usyk fight breaks down, there will be an opportunity for the Ukrainian to fight Deontay. In turn, Krassyuk said that Daniel Dubois, a mandatory contender for the WBA belt, will be a backup option for Oleksandr.
