WBO Super Lightweight Champion Teofimo Lopez has commented on the ongoing negotiations for a potential fight with WBC Lightweight titleholder Shakur Stevenson.

“The meat is marinating in the fridge. Let it marinate. Stay tuned,” Teofimo said.

A showdown between Teofimo Lopez (22-1, 13 KOs) and Shakur Stevenson (24-0, 11 KOs) is expected to potentially take place in early 2026.
