Teofimo labels IBF champ Matias as the 'softest' boxer in the division

WBO champion in the first super lightweight division (up to 63.5 kg), Teofimo Lopez (20-1, 13 KOs), shared his thoughts on IBF titleholder Subriel Matias (20-1, 20 KOs):

'Subriel may be the IBF world champion, but he is the softest fighter in the division. He's a one-dimensional boxer. Plus, he's Puerto Rican. It's terribly simple to defeat Puerto Ricans,' Lopez said to Pro Box TV.

In his last match, Teofimo won against Jemaine Ortiz by a unanimous decision. Matias has a series of five wins by corner retirement.

The likely next opponent for Subriel is Liam Paro.
