Former lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez (17-1, 13 KOs) will square off against former two-division champion Puerto Rican Jose Pedraza (29-4-1, 14 KOs) on Dec. 10 in a welterweight debut.
It is reported that the teams of boxers are in the final stage of negotiations.
Note that after defeating Vasyl Lomachenko, Lopez lost the next fight to George Cambosos, losing all titles. After that, he had a fight with the Mexican Pedro Campa, who won.
Pedrasa also fought Lomachenko but lost to him in 2018. In August, the Puerto Rican fought Richard Commey, which ended in a draw.
