Teofimo Lopez vs. Devin Haney Agreed – Insider

Insider Dan Rafael has reported that the highly anticipated bout between Teofimo Lopez (22–1, 13 KOs) and Devin Haney (32–0, 15 KOs) had reached the final stage of negotiations — but is now at risk of falling through.

"According to three sources involved in the talks, the fight between Teofimo Lopez and Devin Haney was agreed to on Tuesday night but has not yet been signed," Rafael wrote.

The bout was expected to take place on August 16 in Riyadh, at a contracted weight of 145 pounds (65.7 kg). However, the agreement is now in jeopardy following a controversial tweet from Lopez.

Teofimo referred to Turki Alalshikh on Twitter as a “DICKtator,” a post that he later deleted.
