Teofimo Lopez on Keyshawn Davis’ Win: “A Great Start to the Year”

WBO junior welterweight champion Teofimo Lopez congratulated newly crowned WBO lightweight champion Keyshawn Davis (13-0, 9 KOs) after his victory over Denys Berinchyk (19-1, 9 KOs).

"Congratulations to Keyshawn Davis and his team! A great start to the year," Lopez wrote.

On the night of February 15, Davis knocked out Berinchyk in the fourth round, securing the WBO world title.

Following his victory, Keyshawn called out the division’s other champions, setting his sights on unification.
